Interested in Making a Difference in Your Comunity?
PDCF Board members work collectively to
- Strategically develop and grow the PDCF
- Maintain a high level of accountability to donors, government agencies, and the community at large
- Ensure the effective functioning of Board Committees
- Raise the profile of the PDCF in the community
- Provide direction to the Executive Director
The PDCF Board meets monthly. All Board members are expected to serve on at least one committee. New Board members are elected at the PDCF Annual General Meeting in January of each year for a two-year term.
PDCF Committee members are critical to the effective functioning and achievements of the particular committee on which they serve. For example, members of the Grants Committee review and determine which charities receive grants for projects that address community needs and opportunities.
