To cover the cost of PDCF's operations, administration and programming. Programming includes community development, capacity-building workshops for local organizations, facilitation of conversations important to community, the Vital Signs report, and free meeting space for community groups.

Each year, in partnership with Indspire's Building Better Future's Program, a scholarship is presented to an Indigenous youth who is studying at the post-secondary level. Preference is given to Indigenous youth living in Lanark County.

This fund is used to support the establishment of hospice care in Perth and area.
